Hiking Trails, Nature Trails, Paved Parking, Pavilion, Restrooms, and Visitor Center
Located three miles west of Blanchard, the 160-acre nature park contains a pine-oak-hickory forest accessible by five miles of nature trails. The park has an interpretive building, a rentable pavilion with restrooms, a handicapped-accessible trail, and several naturalists who provide information and interpretation to park visitors. Nature oriented programs are available on an appointment basis.
Directions: From Shreveport exit off I220 onto Shreveport/Blanchard Hwy and head north. Stay right onto State Route 173 north. Till you arrive to the town of Blanchard. Upon arrival into Blanchard, take a left by the US Post Office onto Blanchard-Furrh Rd aka W Dougherty Ave. Travel 2.3 miles to park entrance on the right.
